A press release recently announced WLU’s partnership with Navitas that will improve learning opportunities and academic success for international and domestic students. The Wilfrid Laurier International College (WLIC) will offer a customized program of academic course content, study skills development, and social and academic support systems.
After passing the first-year program located on WLU’s Brantford campus, students will be eligible to continue their degree studies in their second year at the Brantford or Waterloo campus.
Navitas has more than 25 years of experience establishing successful pathway programs for some 5,000 international students yearly (many of whom had been attracted to the program by Navitas’ promotional efforts) from more than 90 countries including Canada, the US, the UK, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand. Ninety-five per cent of students progressed from Navitas’ other Canadian programs to their host university.
